New Weird

In the in-class movie, Annihilation, we find a new weird. The focus seems to shift from the usual, characters, to more about the environment. Weird is unusual in its state. It doesn't fit in with the everyday life. That's what we focus on this week. As far as reading, I started American Psycho. I started out with the movie a while back and the confusion around it stuck with me. I wanted to read the book to see if I could clarify some questions I still had. It seems to be close to the outline of the movie with only a few differences. The main character, Bateman, is a cold and very blunt Wall Street worker.
